Supposedly 1 of a kind and specially made for an ex Winchester and Browning Pres. sells for $1800.00 (not including buyers premium) today at the Rock Island Auction. WOW!!!!!

I added this plain jane regular old model 333 to my meger collection today. I paid 25% of the above price. Unfortunetly it will have to see a doctor.

Cocks and sounds like it shoots but it won't push a pellet down the barrel.:^( I'm thinking the guy who paid $1800.00 has the same problem with his.

Classic auction insanity

Exclusivity has its price I guess, such a nice chunk of wood is unusual for Diana, and the lefty may indeed be unique (I have my doubts, though). But IMHO the price is way outta line for the basic value of the model 65 (65, not 60 = 333). Good grief, I have much less than half that in this nice pair of model 60's, including the rebuilds. And they don't have trashed buttplates, either.

You done good on your 333--nice example, congrats.
