I think It was Mulby and JIm in pgh that had mentioned one pin goes under the saftey spring ???
I cannot see a safety spring just a bar in the centre that appears crooked to one side when any of the pins is inserted ..what am I doing wrong ??

it is spring-like in that it will flex as it work.
