I have an RWS in 22 caliber I would sell....it has a 4-12 simmons competition a/o scope...plz emil me at vtxretro02@cox.net if interested. price is 350.00 ...I am in ks
I have the 350 in .177. I would rather have had it in .22. .177 is good for field target, but in a mag springer I feel the .22 takes advantage of the power better.
I have the 48 in .25. What a hammer. The 48 may be under powered in .25 with regard to trajectory, but it really drops the bomb on your targets. For more versatility you may want to consider .22 cal.
with Kris on caliber. I have a 48 in .177, and though I really like the rifle I wish I would have gotten it in .22. I found a front globe sight for it and mounted an Anshutz apperture sight and accuracy is really good.
I recently picked up a Chinese copy(B22)of the 48/52 and after alot of work it has turned out to be a decent shooter. Being .22cal and having a similar powerplant to the 48/52 it does harness the energy of the .22cal pellets more efficiently, to the tune of 19.2ftlbs. My 48 in .177 is a 16ftlb rifle and a joy to shoot, and the only reason I picked up the cheap immitation was to get a rough idea what the rifle would have been like in .22cal. I am in no way suggesting that you take the cheap road with the B22, the Diana is head and shoulders above the Xisico rifle and the 48/52 in .22cal would be your best choice IMHO. Mulby
