Need info on USSR Break Barrel

I have a freinds rifle here that needs a new spring. The manufacturer is IJEVSK and the model is IJ 22 .177cal. It also has stamped on the front of the reciever UINVERSAL FIREARMS CORP. HIALEAH FLA. No.15, and on the breech block the serial# is H24634.
It has a somewhat worn, very nice hardwood stock with pistol grip cap and but plate with white spacers. All the metal is finished well, and it also has a nifty barrel release latch that locks up very well.
When I dissasembled the rifle the trigger mech, block, rear guide and anti-beartrap came out as a single unit. The bore seems to be made of rifled brass inside a thick steel barrel. The spring is toast, but the leather piston seal is in decent shape. Over all the rifle seems in good condition other than needing a mainspring.
Has anyone had experience with this brand or model of break barrel? TIA, Mulby.
