Hi new to airguns so be gentle. I just bought a like new Beeman 400 and would like to have a full set of inserts for it. Anyone know of a good source. Also could use a set for a 75b model.
Thanks Tom
For the factory metal inserts, contact RWS in New Jersey, official distributor of Diana guns, parts, and service here.
A better alternative is clear acrylic front inserts. Most of the target supply houses like Champion's Choice, Pilkington, etc., sell these. The model 75 series has the standard European "M18" front sight size.
There is a fellow named Neil Price in the UK who can make any size clear front sight insert you desire. Contact him at neilwprice@aol.com
Thanks for the information. When you wrote 18m does that mean 18mm inserts? The Beeman and 75 inserts are very different and will not interchange. When I measured them they were 16mm.

Sorry for any confusion! Many match rifles use a standard 18 mm diameter thread for the front sight sleeve. The insert itself is a bit smaller. I believe that the FWB 300, Diana 75, Walther LGR, Anschutz 250 and 380, and others share that size (but I don't own a 75 at the moment to compare).
While all manufacturers have their own pattern for the little tabs on the sides of their metal sight inserts, the clear acrylic ones I mentioned have no tabs. So the same size should fit all these guns. You might contact one of the outfits selling them to verify what your 75 needs.
If in doubt, contact Mr Price as I mentioned in my response above, he does excellent work and will customize it to your gun.
