I made this spring compressor about 15 years ago from a picture in a air gun magazine. It worked fine on Chinese air rifles and a RWS model 36. I recently bought a broken RWS model 48 and found that my spring compressor is too short and pipe rod braces too small in diameter for the model 48 to fit into.
I have all shapes/sizes of metal and the equipment at work to weld up another spring compressor like the first one I made.
Instead of trying to make one from scratch can anyone post a pic with a ruler in it or diamentions of a spring compressor they use for RWS model 48 rifles?
