RWS has a huge stock of everything Diana. Ask your gunshop or RWS rep to contact Germany. I got a brand new D25 and D35 from them recently. They sent the correct stocks but the action didn't fall-in like a glove without minor adjustment of the new stocks. Now the action fits just fine. Let RWS know everything you can tell them about your rifles. Also, include pictures of the guns that you want to upgrade, inside-out (stock bedding detail photo and action screw receptacle photo), so as to receive the most suitable for your action stock available.
I have a small crack in the stock at the left front screw. Possibly caused by tightening that screw too hard in the past (previous owner). Actually it is a very small crack, more the beginning of a crack.
I was wondering: is there any way to repair this ? Some magic glue or something ? After all, it must be a common problem with these guns.
But, should I repair it, it must be as strong as before, otherwise I will order a new stock anyway.
Btw: Nikos, Dianawerk informed me that stocks for 25 and 27 models are no longer available.
Either Elmer's Carpenter's Glue (the yellow kind, not the white stuff), or a good 2-part epoxy, will fix the crack. Just work it in to the crack with a thin tool and clamp overnight.
On the small Dianas I like to put a flat washer under the fore end screws. It distributes the force of the screw head to the wood more evenly, I think.
That's too bad, that RWS run out of D25 and 27 stocks. You may either repair the crack as advised, or look for a custom Maccari stock. I am considering the latter, at some point in the future, when and if I get a breakage. Good luck and best wishes, Nikos
