I just came back from a barbeque at a friends house, lots of beer, meat, 1 Walther CP99 (Co2) 1 Daisy 747 (single stroke pneumatic),and....... a 52 (no description needed!
Boy, I dont remember having that much for with an air rifle since I was a kid !
We were sort of worried at first that someone would call the cops so we started ou shooting the pistols in his backyard, since they are not considered firearms in Canada, and if we got in trouble it wouldnt be THAT much trouble. targets started getting smaller and smaller till we couldnt hit them consistently anymore with the pistols ( the last target was a cigarette but at 20 yards, shooting one handed). After trying to hit that for a while and a few beers later I decided that if I was going to hit that thing it would have to be with a rifle.
Thats when the real fun began. After we were all hitting the cigarrete buts at 25 yard pretty consistently we ran moved down to little red berries. 5 little red berries at 25 yards proped up on a board, one after the other BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM ! NO PROBLEM! (well it was no problem for 2 of us, the other 2 were ..... well.... less consistent, to put it mildly).
Im used to shooting at 50 yards down at the range and was SOOO surprised that the 52 could be so accurate at 25 yards!
WE HAD A BLAST !
