I've acquired a nice, nearly new condition 5G ( nickle version ), which fires well, but, has a funky trigger function. Squeezing the trigger to fire, the first stage is rather stiff and sticky. If I release my finger from the trigger right before the second stage, the trigger blade remains in position ( it doesn't spring back to original position ).
The trigger isn't stiff or sticky in non-cocked gun. Does this gun just need to be broken in? Or, does the trigger need adjustment or lube? Which trigger adjusting screws do I need to adjust, if that's the case?
I'm fairly new to airgunning, so, I'm not familiar with the internals of these guns.
Advice would be appreciated.
