Here is my setting:
Diana mod 54 T05 .177 cal
Webley 1 peice mount
Bushnell trophy 4-12 x 40
once mounted I tried to sight it in at 15m, but it was shooting far too low, I adjust the elevation of the scope all the way down it still shoot about 4 inch low from the point I aim at.
I tried to turn the scope mount other way around, same result.
Then I tried to use another scope and another mount, same result.
Im sure there's nothing wrong with both the scopes, I've been trying them on my Career and they perform well.
Your problem is common. You need an adjustabe scope mount like the RWS C mount. It will allow you to kick the back of your scope up giving you your scope adjustment back.
You could put a shim under the scope mount. If it is low put the shim under the mount closes to you eye. I would start out with a .020 or you could get a mount like this one http://www.straightshooters.com/docs/b2aainst.html

You need an Adjustable Mount or Drooper Mount, Don't buy a C-Mount, Gamo, or B-Square

as they are either a royal pain in the A$$ to set up correctly, won't hold their zero, or can damage the scope...in either case, you end up a frustrated shooter...
RWS Spring Piston Rifles, fixed or breakbarrel, typically have barrel droop designed into them for use with Aperture Sights...
Your best solution, assuming you don't want to bend the barrel back upward, is to buy a Beeman 5039 Adjustable One Piece Mount.
Or buy a droop compensated mount like Beeman's One Piece Mount, a BKL260 drooped from the factory or one of MAC1's Drooper Mounts...
I have 2 RWS54's...the .22 uses a Beeman One Piece Droop Compensated Mount which is designed to compensate for 30 degrees of droop.
My .177 uses the 5039 Mount because the droop is greater than 30 degrees...I'm either going to bend the barrel up or have a BKL260 drooped for 40 degrees....

Why does diana do this, by God why can't they make the barrel straight?
If this cannot be done, why is not the scope rail machined on a slight angle to compensate for barrel droop. Why does Diana not listen to customer concerns and resolve this pain in the ass issue? Is it just me ? if your going to make a barrel droop then make the scope rail on the same angle, pretty simple logic I think.
I think it would be cheaper if you put a couple of layers (start with one or two) of ducktape under the scope at the mount on the back.So you wil compensate the barrel.
