Hi, has anyone got any reccomendations for a scope and mounts that can handle a 48 at a decent price?
I will be hunting day and night at around 40 yards for possum iguana and bush rabbit here in South America.
I am new to the sport and so am open to all suggestions and recomendations.

My BSA AR 4-12x44 AO has been through roughly 1000 shots no problem, love this scope for the value, $100 at cabelas, shop around for a better price, and they have a lifetime warranty, the scope is clear and offers plenty light on the lower power settings and is dead on, i have a 48 in .177, furthest kill at 65 yards with this scope and climbing!!! hope that helps
