Newbie question about Diana 54

I am thinking about gettiing a Diana 54 primarily because of the recoilless system. I have a FWB 300 (which is recoilless of course) and I love it. Is there anyone out there that has used both the FWB recoilless guns and the Diana 54 and can compare the two? I have never had a Diana gun but really like the idea of a magnum recoilless rifle. Compared to the FWBs and HWs, how are the Diana's construction, fit and finish.

Thanks!

It's not completely without recoil, your scopes will still suffer because of the movement of the recoil-system ...

the actions moves as it would any way but between the action and stock there is a sledge set up that still imparts the recoil to your shoulder but spreads it over much more time (still fractions of a second) and therefore is percieved as much less or zero.
As to the scope then as per point above, the 54 will not be any kinder on your scope than a full recoiling rifle, as is often the maxim - buy the best reputable name you can afford, some brands have specific models rated for airguns. The actual specification you quote is great for the tasks you have in mind. < stolen from another forum

I think most people would say that the weihrauch has a bit better quality, because of some plastic parts on the diana guns (trigger and sights)
