I just received my scope and b-square one piece mount. There is a large flat head screw sticking out of the scope rail on my airgun. What is this screw for?
Also, the b-square mount didn't come with any type of stop pin and I thought it did. I called them and told the lady on the phone and she said she'd send one right out to me. Didn't ask for my card or anything. I thought that was pretty cool.
It is a Swift 695M 3-9X40. It looks really nice and I got a great deal on it, at least I think I did.
The scope mount is a B-Square 17101. I thought the mount was supposed to have a stop pin built into it? B-square said they'd send me the stop pin. Where is the stop pin supposed to go? And which hole in the rail does it fit in?
That screw is a scope stop. I have heard of people shearing them off. I never have. If it is in the the way of your mount just take it off. I usually just remove them. HTH
