Overpriced stock

April 3 2006, 1:34 PM

IIRC, the Blue Book lists the value of a 95% Diana 35 to be about $150US.
This stock has an opening bid of $75 plus $14 shipping.
I suspect that this pricing may be optimistic.
My brother bought a fair/good Diana 27 on gunbroker for $36 plus $13 shipping.
$75 might be a good opening price for a complete 35.

That's a fair price if you're paying in gold, LOL

I doubt you'll get a good 35 for $75. Bluebook aside, check the auctions.

Actually, I bought a good 35 for $75

I picked up a decent-looking Winchester 435 at Roanoke for $75. When I finally got around to chronying the gun, it was shooting a little slow, so I put in a Maccari spring. I saw that stock on auction, and I agree that its priced a bit steep, but most of that seller's stuff starts at very opimistic prices. I suppose if I were trying to restore a 35 to like-new condition, it'd probably be a good deal, since I don't imagine you can get them from RWS parts.

Open the pod bay doors, Hal.
