I have a P5 pistol and, along with some others I'm sure, I have wondered if it can be made to take a scope. Actually, I don't want to put a scope on it but something smaller like a small red dot sight (Crosman and Daisy make some small models, for example). I see the thickness of the receiver/cylinder wall is not too thick, but I wonder if it would be possible to very carefully cut enough of a groove on each side with my Dremel cutting wheel to mount the red dot sight. Just a thought? Does anyone know, has this been done? Any links or pics would be appreciated. Thanks.

I finished mounting my scope mount about 2 weeks ago. I have used about 1000 pellets through it and no problems yet. If you need a hand E mail me. Glad to help another plinker.
