Someone on the yellow forum just posted that RWS is no longer in New Jersey. Have they moved, again? I was so glad when they went back to their NJ site, especially for the techs there. Also, the maintenance prices were back down to earth. Hate to see what they will be now.

What, me worry???

Repair Facility

I can confirm that. Some guy from Arkansas called me about my rifle three weeks ago. He said it was delived along with many others from New Jersey, and that he was sorting them out. All in all My 46E has been away for more than two months being repaired. Not the best customer service.

Two months is nothing.

Randall,

I sent out an RWS rifle for a trigger repair. Took over a year to get it back.

RWS Repair

June 3 2006, 3:08 PM

Whiteleather,

How can they do this? Why did your rifle repair take so long?

The guy in New Jersey told me that he would get to mine within two weeks. That was seven weeks ago. If I ever have another RWS rifle that needs repair, I will seek out other options.

I didn't send mine to RWS.

I sent it off to Russ. My point is that you can't put a blanket condemnation on RWS. Even our most respected tuners get behind schedule. If RWS has moved its operation to Arkansas you can imagine the upheaval they are going through.

RWS got bought by UMAREX, the company that has Walther and a bunch of others. Guy running the show now lives in Arkansas, former Daisy official, I think.
