Re: I've got an RWS48 (.22 cal.) that really likes the Predators,

Just wondering, what type of groups are you getting? I've been shooting many brands of pelet but find the Beeman FTS unbelievable in my RWS 54 in .22cal. I'm getting about 3/4 ' at 30 yards and about 1-1/4 " at 50 yards consistently with very little or no flyers. Predators would be hard to find in my territory but I'd love to try them.

With Predator pellets I generally get about 1/2 to 3/4 in. at 40 yds., although occassionally everything works just right (my steadiness & hold and lack of a breeze)and I get a small one hole cloverleaf 5 shot group. The only pellet I've found so far that does any better, accuracy wise, is the Beeman Trophy, and its just marginally better, Benjamin domes work pretty well also. Another good point is the Trophies and Benjamins hit pretty close to POA (about an inch off POA at 20 yds.) when the scope is sighted in for the Predators, so I can plink with the cheaper pellets while using just a little Kentucky windage and don't have to adjust the scope or plink with the expensive Predators.
