Hi everyone,
Here in Istanbul among a certain number of air gun clubbers a discussion is going on about 'Gamo Expander' pellets. The guys who have tried it are reporting that it penetrates almost 100 pages more on the phonebook than another domed pellet fired from the same rifle. At this point, I would love to have your comments based on your 'Gamo Expander' experiences.
Thank you all in advance:)

You will find that both the shape and hardness of the pellet affect penetration .
The pellet I have found that penetrates the most is the crosman pointed , its made of a hard alloy of lead antimony and zinc , it also has a very high balistic coefficient and will retain energy well downrange . The JSB Exact is an excellent pellet , but the bottom line is you have to find the pellet your gun likes , the one it groups best with , that will be the one to use .
By the way I have already tried the ''Crossman Pointed''s but it was an
interesting subject to hear that those expanders were penetrating more than all the other pellets. That's why I wanted to check with your experiences on this specific pellet if you had any.
If penetration is needed, the DYNAMIC pellets deliver top performance, although accuracy may not be the same. I have an 1980s GAMO 2100 EXPO air rifle in .177 cal. that loves shooting these lead-free pellets. Here is a link: http://www.airgun.co.uk/dynamic.htm
