Goodevening from Belgium,
i'v a Diana 48 in .177, ( same as RWS 48 in .177) with a T5 trigger.
The rifle has about 1500 shots without a problem, on a diet of Baracudas and AAF (Air Arms Field)
Now after a dieseling shot it does not want to cock any more. Lubes must have gotten into the chamber.
Opened it up, cleaned it, and find the lever TR061 ( on the plan at www.chambersgunmakers.co.uk ) broken.
I order a new one, install it, and after the first shot it does not want to cock any more>
The replacement part is not broken. But with the trigger unit in my hand I can see that it can not cock anymore. It seems out of shape.
Anyone had a similar experience?
Or am I missing something here?
Thanks for reading, Tony
I have a Diana 54 in 177 and the exact same thing happened, shot about 2000 pellets and gave it to my dad to have a couple of shots and to basically brag about my new nice gun,he tried to cock it but it didnt engage,I tried and felt a sense of embarresment as my new top of the line springer let me down. Anyway the cocking arm could be pulled back all the way but the gun just didnt engage(I could also see that the safety didnt move back as I tried to cock the gun). I opened her up and just started pushing and pulling the trigger and the safety, basically not having an idea what is wrong or what to do...I am not very technically gifted. It didnt seem to help or do anything so I cocked the gun without the stock and it engaged!!! I fired of the shot and then assembled the gun again and fired another shot, tightened every screw and I havent had a problem since(1500 pellets).
Like my message title said,I wish I had a real answer.
