Can anyone tell me if when you have to make an adjustment to a scope with the scope screws , If lets say you want to move Up ( don't matter what way up /down /lft /rt .

Lets say you need 2 clicks up , is it best to go up 3 or 4 clicks and then come back to the 2 clicks that you needed ? Just so the tension on the cross hairs is always going in the same direction ??

Hope this post is clear ? or don't sound dumb .

Yes it is the safest way to do it, 4up and 2back,I used to do it that way but now I dont anymore. I havent seen a difference though even at 50-60meters i adjust one way and then shoot and then adjust again if needed. I love shooting as far as I can with my Diana 54 or as far as space allows.

My Leupy EFR likes back-stepping, too

Yes, I do that also. It holds better its latest settings that way. I got the tip from the late Dick Thomas of PREMIER RETICLES.

"Four steps (clicks) forward three steps back, for every single step (click of change) in the crosshairs".

Cheers,
Nikos
