I'm planning on building a spring compressor for my RWS 34's .177 & .22

Once the tension is taken off the and the pins removed about how much spring in inches comes out before all the tension is released ? Just wanted to know so I have some idea on how long to build etc and what to expect .

You can expect about 3=4 inches of preload , and maybe a couple of hundred pounds of pressure .
