I just found out that I have some really bad Cervical Spine / neck probs and a torn rotator cuff and bicep muscles . I am having surgery this month .
I am in intense pain and can't really comfortably cock my RWS 34's anymore , I have one in .177 and a .22 Both scoped.and about 5 months old .I have taken them apart and lubed them with JM Tar and Molly and de-bured every thing and BLUE loc - tited the gun to stock screws.

They shoot great I do have a JM GRT Spring which I put in the .22 but didn't really care for so put back the original . it WILL go with one of the guns or both if I can make a deal ?

What I am getting at is I still want to shoot .22 air gun. I can't do a pump up soo that leaves me with something pre charged or CO 2

What would give me the most power as far as penatration for hunting etc . and still at a reasonable price ?

Can I advertise the guns on this web site . ??

Thank you to all re plys

PCP has more power, but more money

Co2 is a decent and very convenient propellant but has upper limits on the velocity, your velocity would also fluctuate based on temperature, colder = less velocity. While I do not own a pre-charged air rifle, everyone says they are the best, 800+fps, but they are expensive, and require other goodies like a 3000psi scuba tank for filling the gun, so your investment could easily top 1000 bucks (which is why I have not gone there myself). PCP's also offer hand pumps, I dont know if you have an interest in that option.

There are tuners who make custom QB-78's and Crosman 22xx's, both powered by co2, and they are pretty fun. My Mountain Air 2250XT shoots at 710 in 85 degree weather.

You can list your airguns on AuctionArms.com, or Gunbroker.com, or the Yellow forum classifieds- http://www.network54.com/Forum/79574/

hope this helps

Most CO2 guns aren't powerfull. It's great for matchrifles/pistols though but high power CO2 usually means less consistancy. The match CO2 guns aren't really temperature sensetive either. The cheap one's are.
For hunting I'd definately pick pcp. It doesn't have to be really expensive: an CZ/AA or Logun Solo is 4 sale for about E450.
