I was shooting my RWS 54 air rifle at the range today at 50 yards when a ferocious lady bug pounced on my target, just to the right of my bull. The yellow circles are the group I was working on, just before coming under attack. The blue is my first shot at him and missed....I gasped!...now he was on the move! The red is the shot that finally took him down, just as he was rearing up to charge! Whew,..that was a close one.

He could have charged you while you were unarmed lol , or worse yet he could have attacked a family member in your absence ...it good that you have eliminated this threat !!

 Once during a visit to AZ. we just happened to be there during Lady Bug Mating Season. MAN those cute little suckers have a set of JAWS!

 BTW those are some pretty impressive 50 yarders!!!

 I once did such a feat to a fly woth my BSA Scorpion at 20 yards. Have been trying to duplicate it ever since at any possibility, but the flys always move (yea right...).
