I just bought a used RWS 45. It looks like an original 45 - a bolt through the stock near the trigger, squared trigger guard, and big plastic safety. But the manufaturing date code is 03/90. Is this possible? I thought model 45's manufactured after 1988 are all new models.

Another question is, if I want to take it apart, how do I remove the bolt near the trigger. Are there instructions of disassembling original 45?

Yes, the first version of the model 45 was still being made then. After it was discontinued, a similarly-shaped stock was stuck on the model 34 action--which had been around since about 1983--to create the "new" model 45.
