Initial Review on the Panther 34 .22. It wasn't packed as good as the Diana 21, or the Diana 46 all of them were bought from Midsouth shooting supplies. Initial inspection it seems a nice rifle for the money, on top of the reciever it has the Diana emblem and TO5 marked on the reciever. On inspection it must be a revised version of TO5 it only has pull adjustment and is said to be adjusted at the factory, this is 3-2.5lb adjustment. The safety looks like metal on thats on the RWS 46 but its more like the RWS 21 it slides back and forth not up and down.

For the money its a nice air rifle the black fiberglass stock is firm and checkered. The rifle is front end heavy but not as much as the 21. The 21 stock seems to be made solider then 31 or 34. Internally the main spring was dry and sqeaked upon cocking. I lube tuned it and it smooth out some I'm still breaking it in. The barrel seem to be straight and it shooting two to three shot group with 4th or 5th shot breaking loose. It only has a Gamo 4x32 scope on it and it not that accurate as I think it will be after it breaks in.

Right now for the money its a good air rifle, nice to look at and ok to hold and fire. It has a nice trigger, a rather thin recoil pad and great pistol grip with nice bluing and metal works. The stock is alright, I'd say it looks better the Gamo shadow stock but doesn't feel as good to hold.

Pending break in its a Ok rifle, I'm enjoying the Diana 21 more as of right now. Being powerful and lightweight is not always a good thing, unless you are a boxer.
