I really love it, I had a gamo shadow 1000 in .177 before this and i'll tell ya the quality of the german rifle is like night and day. The RWS had not only better initial quality from the start, but what suprised me was the overall out of box quality there was. This is my first rifle with a wooden stock and I don't think i'll go back to a synthetic, unless i just pick up a rifle to tune. Don't get me wrong I loved my shadow, but the overall quality and performance of the RWS 34 suprasses way past the Gamo Shadow. I plan to take the RWS 34 on it's first hunt Thanksgiving morning, on a farm that my family owns, should be fun!
