I installed a maccari kit into my 54. After a few shots the two keeper pins that hold the trigger assembly in will back themselves out until they hit the cocking lever. Any thoughts? Suggetions?

Make sure there is no oil or grease on these pins.
I've had this problem myself and finally started taking the time to make sure there is no lubricants at all on the pins or the areas they come in contact with.

P.S. Which kit did you purchase? do you love it?

Keeper Pins

Mine back out to the side lever also but, they are long enough that they shouldn't fall throught the one side. If yours do fall through on one side they are too short for some reason.
