After having my 350 for six months now and being very happy with I finally decided to open it up on saturday and give it a lubr tune. The power was still very strong after 2000 shots but I wanted to see if there was any grease in it.I was shocked to see that there was basically no lube inside the rifle. The seal was in great shape so I left it alone and did a polishing job on the spring ends. The spring ends were ground flat but left in a very rough condition.I smoothed them off and then polished them.I also polished the sides of the piston.I used di-electric grease on the piston and JM velocity grease on the spring.I only have about one hundred shots thru it so far but I chronied it last night. Before the tune it fired Crosman Pre.14.3gr at 800fps after the tune it,s hitting an average of 840fps with a low of 832 and a high of 846.Everything still needs time to seat it self but I think I,ll be very happy with it.This weekend I think I,ll work on my 46.
Hi John .
I have a 1 yr . old 34 and I got JM heavy tar and the molly grease. Took down both guns and polished and de-bured and cleaned everything I could .
I don't know what the velocity was and is . But It cocks and sounds a LOT better and is just soo smooth now . Mine was also basically DRY . I lubed anything that was hinged or slid or had a spring on it in it .
When I fire all I have is a Thunk and no vibration or twang. Just feels so much better all the way around .
