I have an RWS 350 in .177 that I love. No complaints about accuracy or killing power. However the two screws in the stock that go through the trigger gaurd keep coming loose after about every 250 shots. I fixed the rearward one (the wood screw) with some wood glue. But the foward one (the machine screw) keeps coming loose. Once I thighten them I don't loose zero so it is not a major complaint but an innconvineance. I have tried everything I can think of including locktight and lock washers. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do to correct it? I would really appreciate your help.
If loctite doesn't do it and if you are in fact using the permanent one I would try something along the lines of a jb weld. Or start with something similar like a 2 part epoxy putty. You can maybe put a little of the putty or the paste and thread it in then back out a couple times and let it dry with the screw out to fill any looseness. I would think that a little drop on the screw thread, very little, may tighten up the threading but still be able to be removed with some elbow grease. It might also be the threads on the screw are worn. In that case it would be as simple as replacing the screw. If you are scared of trying this procedure on the gun first try some on another bolt and nut to see how it works.
I would not use epoxy or the red locktite, you will have a real mess if or when the gun needs a rebuild.Use the blue locktite, clean the screw threads with alcohol( both the male and female)apply locktite reassemble and let dry for 24 hours.I have two mod. 34's and one 48 this has worked on them.Hope this helps.

If you encounter a small screw that won't budge due to loctite or epoxy, they can often be removed by first touching a clean soldering iron to the screw head. Both sealants release at relatively low temps.
from the scope always moving to the stock coming loose. the best thing i have done to correct the problem is remove ALL the screws (except the trigger adjustment screw)and loc-tite them. i never had a problem since, its an easy fix, good luck
