I believe that they are no longer marketed in the US. I have a 177 cal that is "as new" in box with all papers.

RWS 46 Stutzen

February 16 2007, 5:14 PM

New RWS 46 Stutzens in .177 are available from RWS.They are going for $425 including S&H and are subject to remaining stock.I just got mine and it was built in 01/01.The trigger is not marked TO5 but has the marking ST,whatever that signifies.It has two adjustment screws.I wouldn't worry too much about the trigger.The first stage was a little rough but that is starting to smooth out already with only about 100 rounds.The second stage with adjustment of the second screw is crisp and about 2 1/2 lbs.This is a short barreled rifle and the cocking effort on the lever is a little more than my Panther 34.I chro
nographed several pellets the day I got it.The avg. results were:
CPH=693fps.-11.2ft/lbs
CPL=804fps.-11.3ft/lbs
RWS Meisterkugeln=821fps-12.3ft/lbs
RWS Superdome=825fps-12.5ft/lbs ---- Most accurate so far but the weather in N.E.PA.has been a bear so all testing has been indoors at 10 yds.
If interested in one of these beautiful rifles, I contacted Glenn Seiter at
Umarex.Ph-479-646-4210 ext. 17.
This is definately a carry gun and I plan on putting a Beeman(Williams)peep on mine.My problem here is finding out if the Beeman is the right one for a drooper barrel.

It Fits

Hi Mac, the Beeman sport aperture sight fits my RWS mod 46E just fine. I did
need drooper mounts when I scoped it. I found that the Avanti(Daisy) target
diopter sight worked far better than the Beeman sight, they're the same price
as the Beeman sight. The Avanti is best for 10 meter bullseye and the Beeman
is best for hunting. The Beeman sight places your eye in a far more forward
position than the Avanti, the Avanti is a more comfortable sight to shoot with.
Good luck;

Tony

Tony,
Thank you so much for the comeback.You have solved my dilema!The Beeman it will be since it is basically going to be a carry gun.

Try APP (Advanced Precision Products) in Fla. Speak to Brad; he was able to track down one of the last remaining 46's available. I received it yesterday, and all is well.
