Get the compact it balances better, you lose nothing in velocity.

...I like my wimmins petite anyway . A noticeable velocity loss from most springers doesn't really make much effect until the barrel is @ 10" or less . That 46 Compact is a sharp looker .

Regular 46:

We do get the 46 Stutzen here in the states:

I prefer the regular 46 to the 46 Stutzen. The Stutzen is a couple of inches shorter, but to me doesn't feel any shorter or handier, and isn't any lighter.
The Stutzen is also harder to cock, and a sling swivel band won't bolt onto the cocking lever without wood removal.
I feel that a 46C would work out much better FOR ME than a 46S IF it were available. Since they aren't, I'll stick to the full length rifles.
