I havnt picked a scope yet and was needing advice on how scope weight would affect the recoil dampening mechanism on a Diana 54. I am leaning toward the bushnell elite 3200 series of scopes.
Thanks
I've tinkered with my Diana 54 for a few years now. Many different scopes as well.
There is zero doubt that the lighter the scope the better. The added weight that far above the recoil-centerline just adds to the binding of the slider action.
Thanks for the reply. I ended up with the Buyshnell 3200 as a compromise in a 5-15 variable. What scope do you use? Action/opperating has been flawless so far and I'm very happy with the combo.
