Hello To All
As many of the users on here probably know I have RWS 34's and a QB 79 in .22
I don't hunt as a rule but do have to knock off a coon / Possum / Skunk .... Chipmunk or maybe a chicken or 2 this summer .

I usually punch paper when not engaged in critter control. OK I guess I am a PART TIME HUNTER hahahhaha

Anyway I am sort of intrigued by the RWS 350 , but wonder if the 48 /52 would be a better choice ?

If I do make this decision I'll probably get rid of my RWS 34 in .177 and the Archer Gold Checked QB 79 in .22.
That would give me a RWS 34 in .22 and either of the 350 or RWS 48 family of guns in .22 also .
I do have a spring compressor and know how to tune the 350 / 48.

Wondering what you would do ??

Thanks JerryL

Well here we go.
I have the 34 in 22 and a 45 in 177 and the 54 in 177 and finaly the 350 in the 177.
The 350 has all kind of power shoots good but you probably wouldn't want to just set a bench a shoot a lot of paper. I shoot a lot of firearms and the recoil doesn't bother me. The 350 has recoil somewhat like a firearm. Not bad but just more noticeable than the other models.

The 54 is a great shooter, your scope doesn't even move off the target when you let her go.

I'm like you I kinda have my eye on a 48 or a 52 in a 22. The 48 is a inch shooter in length than the 52. 52 has the nicer stock. Other than that they are the same.

Good Luck on your choice...

Get both .....

I don't have a 48, only a 350. It's an awesome rifle. Shoots where you point it, but it's overkill if you mainly punch paper. I cannot comment on the 48/54, but I know it's a rifle that I'll own one day....soon lol.

I think you should own both. hehe! The 48 would do both really well, I think you should get the 460 it's a fixed barrel and also around 1100fps. I prefer fixed barrel / under-lever  guns myself. The side lever seems to make the rifle feel "fat" and front heavy. IMHO
