Fellow Airgunners,
I'm in need of some expertise concerning a Diana 75 T01 I recently sold to a fellow airgunner. I purchased a beautiful 75 from Jim Edmondson recently but had to re-sell the rifle because of a prior commitment to another match airgun. The gun functioned flawlessly for the approximate 40 or 50 shots I had fired. I took the action out of the stock, removed the trigger and sights and packaged the gun very well and shipped it off to it's new owner. I just received a call from the gentleman and he is obviously upset because when he put the action in the stock, secured the trigger and sights and then cocked the rifle, the trigger didn't seem to take a set. He tells me it kind of flops around as if there is no tension on it at all. I've been told by Jim that he has heard of this happening before and that it's a simple adjustment to remedy. Can any of you PLEASE help me out so I can contact the new owner to correct this situation. Any and all information on this dilemma will be greatly appreciated!
Respectfully,
Ed

Something similar happened to me

........with a Diana 66 I bought. There is a small adjustmment screw on the forward underside of the triger guard that corrected it for me. It's relieved into the guard, and IIRC it is an allen head screw. Very easy to miss.

I'm not that knowledgeable............

.......and there is a good chance that the trigger on the 75 was changed from the trigger I have in the 66.

The good news is they're usually pretty easy to figure out. All you need to do is spend some time studying the gun.

Sorry i can't be more help. My Diana's are down at my other house. But if the gun is near the southern maryland area bring it by & I'll take a look at it.
