"Scopes: Why I do prefer the G&R over other brands ?"
Regarding the comments about the G&R scopes, I would like to say that in the past, I suffered problems scoping several airguns with different brands of scopes. Briefly, I tried Leupold EFR 3-9x33 (2), BSA (2), Tasco(1),Bushnell Legend (2), etc. I failed with all of them, including the expensive EFR ( I sent them 2 times each to be repaired in the factory !). These scopes were used in several airguns: Diana 350 magnum, Weihrauch 90, Diana 36, Diana 45, etc.
The problem was that was impossible to keep the "zero". I started to pay attention to the adjustment of the stock screws, to carefully clean the bore, to use premium pellets ( JSB ), etc. NO WAY.
The G&R scopes might not be german, they may not have the clear optics of the Leupold EFR, but they consistently do something crucial: they keep the "zero" !. And their price is not that high.
At present I do have 3 of my airguns with G&R scopes ( one more travelling ), and, before go hunting, I do have the confidence that they are not going to failed...
where did you purchase the three scopes, if I may ask? I have also owned many of the brands that you listed, although it sounds as if you've had more trouble than I.
Hi,what part of Argentina are You from? I am originaly from Buenos Aires.
Regarding scopes and mounts i had a few problems.First I had a Tascco top of the line (by Tasco standards = nice piece of you know what) with a very solid mount on my 52.The mount was so solid that one day shoting i noticed the zero shifting ever so slighty until the top turet shear right off! yes like someone cut it with a saw! I must say thou that up until that time the zero stay .
One thing that I noticed and confirmed with many in the field target world is that no gun (spring at least) keeps zero from first shot, my experience is that you have to shot at least 10 rounds until it goes back to zero. Now I am not talking about inches to one side or the other ,I'm talking 1/2 to 3/4 in at 25 yards.Still inside of a squirrel head ,so in hunting situations you can forget about this. However if you are like me is enough to drive you nuts. The first thing that i do,while hunting ,is put at least 10 pellets thru at the ground as soon as i get out of the car.Probably your next question is how long stays zero ,to tell you the truth I dont know but it seems to stay good for the rest of the mornig hunt.Long story short , I went thru many gun/scope/mount combinations, right now i use a Diana 350 .177 done up with my secret recipe of lube and spring, toped with a dampa mount and a Boush&Lomb Elite 4200 6X26 (I can only shoot heavy pellets now but who cares). To questions as if the Dampa mount works , it does.To those of you that have one try this: stick a piece of masking tape to the side of the mount taping together the top and bottom halves,go to the range and shoot a lot . You will see what happens with the tape!!!
Re: thanks, Teotimo... are all three zooms? I'm interested in the 6x.

Lymon, my 3 G&R scopes are 3-12 x 44, and a fourth 2-7 x 32? is comming. I´ve just entered in JM webpage and none of these scopes are over there: there should be out of stock.
I never tried the 6x32, which is in sale !.
