I see posts from happy/unhappy owners, much like Bushnell, Burris, Leupold, Tasco, Simmons, Leapers, BSA et al.
The unique thing, as far as I can tell, is that the brands named above are all available from many sources, while I've only seen G&R offered on Jim Maccari's website.
So, I'm conflicted. I'm inclined to trust Mr. Maccari having had nothing but excellent results from the products bought from him.
Is G&R sold anywhere else? Is it a Maccari "house brand"?
I'd really like a look at the 6x... does anyone know if it resembles any other scope sold under another brand? I'm obliquely asking: who makes them and do they make scopes with other brand names (that I might recognize)?

Hey, they might be great scopes, but Australia & Brazil aren't really convenient for me. I guess I'll try one & see... my $50- Leapers was pretty impressive & I haven't broken it yet.

In general if you want the best the Zeiss is the best. Nothing comes even close to
Zeiss. Look at the Zeiss Conquests. They run around $399.

Zeiss is the best scope period.
