My RWS M-34P shoots 596fps average with Benjamin 14.3gr. pellets. Shot that when brand new and now has ~1000 rounds through it with little change in speed.

RWS-34 on a .22 diet

If I remember correctly mine was shooting right a 650 fps with RWS Hobbies. Have you tried any other pellets? Might be worth your time.

I don't need it, but I've got the fever. Got a few Beemans/HW's, an RWS48 and a couple of tuned QB's. Wanting to add another mid-power springer to the mix.
