I have a RWS 34 in .22 cal. I have been using the scope that came with it (RWS) and it has been very good up until today.
Whilst shooting a squirrel, I noticed something on the scope while looking through it. I thought something just got on one of the lenses. I fired it again and it was apparent that there was some internal glass shattered. There is also a washer of some type floating around in there.
Needless to say the scope is toast. I am going to contact the firm that I bought the rifle from and see if they will exchange it, but I am thinking I would like to go with a diopter or peep type sight. I would prefer windage and elevation adjustment on it.
The stock sight that comes on the rifle is actually pretty good, but I like a longer sight radius. Therefore the sight would need to mount on the scope rail.
Any suggestions?
