Need some info on this .22 cal rifle. Where can I obtain piston seal and main spring? This was a very low power rifle, especially in .22 cal. Any way to up the power a bit?

Back in the 'day', I used to just get parts from DN. Sadly, those days are gone.

I've got a "Made in Scotland" version of the same gun, same caliber, Daisy logo.

Mine gets a surprising 340 fps, but needs a new barrel detente, it locks-in loose when you close the action.

As far as more power, it pretty much is what it is. Not much room to make a magnum out of this one.

I have the 813 but it is .177 caliber. Any idea what the approx. velocity would be?

I'm thinking 500 fps with medium weight pellets is about all you'll get. Small spring in there.

I have one in .177 also. Purchased late '70s. Shoots cpls about 425 fps now, the spring is getting weaker. It is however, one of the most accurate guns I own at 10 meters, 5 shots = one ragged hole all the time. One of my favorites!

I was able to make a new leather seal as per instructions on the Pyramyd website tips and tricks section

They show no stock on mainspring though. I would love to refurbish my hyscore 813. My nephew also has one in .22 (814?)
