Thanks to Mike Driskill, it looks like my Diana 25 may indeed be a prewar gun. Lots of similarities between the prewar 25 and earl,y 1951 era versions. very similar indeed.
I guess Ill aave to shoot it over the chronograaph and report back to the gang. I would expect it to be slightly less than aa Diana 27.
those of you magnum fans expecting 700 fps, just forget it!.
It feels like it needs a new piston seal. breech seal is leather, I probably should oil it and retest.
using Meisterkugen and hobby pellets low was 191 and high of 244 with meisterkugen.
Extremely lightcocking pressure needed to cock it.
Interesting tag tied to trigger guard states
"German pellet gun sent to me by uncle Ben Parker from LaHarve, France in 1944 mailed with a paair of black Germaan boots."!!!!

Some of the Law relatives came from LaHaarve area!

nicce old gun probably needs new piston seal aand oil on leather breech seal.

Does aanyone have a prewar style diana 25 rear sight for sale that is not broken?
The rear sight on the rile has a dovetail fitting aznd looks like its off a 35 or later rifle.

Send me an email and Ill send you pix of the rifle-NO! its not for sale.
