Is a muzzelbreak worth it? Which one..does it improve accuracy or is it just a handle for cocking? Anybody with expierence before and after adding one?
I found an adjustible muzzle break to be of an advantage. Take a look at www.custombrakz.com Some controversy around this subject..barrel harmonics, as the projectile travels through the barrel it creates vibration which is why you will see weights on competition rifles (it's not just for balance) I personally found heavy muzzle breaks brought my groups tighter, and with an adjustible one you find your sweet spot and blue loktite it in.

The tunable brake seems interesting. How much did it improve? Barrel need to shortened? How much weight? What kind of cost are we looking at? Sending the gun in and turn around time?
Never cut a barrel yourself, the muzzle has been choked by the factory and if cut will need to be rechoked. There is no need to send your gun in, he makes the muzzle break sends it to you, you install it. To install it you will need to remove the front sight, hammer down and file smooth the horns that held your front sight and touch up the blueing. I had mine made of brass. If I remember the cost was $125.00 or you can buy a cheap one at straight shooters for about $30.00
