| - JSB Predator Pellets are these any good?
Prometheus Piledriver= These are the brand new lead pellets from the manufacturers of the excellent Exterminator pellets.
Something totally new, these are heavyweight pellets ideal for FAC rifles and short range hunting for extra knock-down power.177cal 21grains 1.36grams and
.22cal 30grains 1.94grams.
WOW would this hurt my gun?

I'm curious about these Piledrivers also. I was thinking they were really for PCPs that need a heavier pellet to slow things down to subsonic levels. At 21 grains they are twice the weight of Crosman Premier heavies. Since they are basically a solid bullet and don't have a skirt wouldn't that make them unstable? Maybe they are only good for really close shots while hunting. |

I have a .22 Diana 350 and the piledrivers hold tons of energy @ 100m. I was shooting 20 gal plastic paint containers that distance and they would punch cleanly through both sides while premiers and JSB pellets would only penetrate one side and not even dent the other. Accuracy is also excellent. I am reliably able to hit Coke Cans at out to 110m from a bench rest. These seem great as far as heavyweight pellets go. | |
