Just got the 460 in .177 from Umarex yesterday. Ordered it on Monday and it was at my door on Thursday. I bought one of the Demo models, $340.00 delivered. What a deal, got the 3x9x44 Night Pro scope, a set of 2 piece scope mounts and an RWS C-mount. Shoots like a dream for a hunting rifle. I'm only shooting at 10 meters because it's too cold and wet to shoot outside but it literally will stack pellets one on top of the other. Out of the box it was a little rough and kicked like a mule but after a bit of lube and a few hundred rounds it calmed right down and started to smooth out, kind of like breaking in my 350 when I got it. This gun may have the potential to shoot as well as my FWB124 if I get the trigger worked. Great deal, get one if they have any left. Many thanks to Ryan at Umarex for all his help and advice.
I'm the proud owner of Diana mdls: 20(.177), 24(.177), 34(.177), 45x2(both .177s), 46x3(.177, .22. and Stutzen), 50T01(.177), 48x2(.177 and .22), 350(.22), and now a 460(.177), and a bunch of others, but I love them ladies the most.
Sounds like you hit a home run. Looks like about 50% saving on a great rifle. I have the 460. and it shoots very mild, very little kick. Good Shooting!
PS; Sounds like you receive great customer service. I am still waiting for my order by another company. The order was placed 6 days ago and I just found out it has not even been shipped.
Very nice collection of Diana guns I must say, Umarex is very good to deal with as I had to buy a bunch of spare parts from them this year and I mailed in a money order to them and had my parts in one week which suprised me, did you get that scope from Umarex also?
I bought my 34. from Pro Bass, and after shooting the rifle, I noticed a small crack in the breach seal. I called Umarex an spoke to Glen, I had a new seal in two days. I have also contacted him by e-mail on other issues, and always get a reply with 24 hours. Super customer service.
can be had for .40 or .50 cents at a local hardware store. 24 through
350 break-barrels use the same o-ring. P5 pistols use a slightly smaller
o-ring. Sizes/specs have been posted at a few AG forums - I don't recall
them off the top of my head. Wish all the break-barrel springer breech
seals were so easy and cheap to come by or obtain.
