at the breech, on the top of the barrel there's some texture (buncha cut lines...like a file almost) on the metal. Theres some rust spots there which I tried scratching out and re-bluing but it seems to be making the rust come back worse. Also theres a scratch on the barrel itself I tried bluing but seemed to rust over again as well.
water to neutralize the bluing . Work it in with a toothbrush . Dry it best you can with a towel then use a hair dryer if you can . Work some rust preventive oil in with a toothbrush -take care not getting any into the action or on the seal . Hopefully that works . best luck to you .
