Subject: Re: Tune a 40--A Good Tune

Warren,

From Ed k.

The RWS is one rifle that will really respond in a great way to one of my less expensive tunes. It's the Essentials Tune plus:

1. A new Maccari Spring (less recoil than with the factory spring, but MORE velocity)
2. Trigger Tune
3. Reduce the Transfer Port size for more velocity, yet even smoother operation (the factory port is way too big!!)
4. Add 3 oz. weight to the rifle's butt stock for ideal balance

It will come back a very-different, much better rifle.

The cost is $145 plus return shipping.

Now, I can do it for $125 plus shipping if you don't get the trasfer port reduced, but the port work is worth every penny and then some. It makes an incredible difference.

You can let me know if you're interested.

Thanks,

Ed

I am going for it because I trust this man.

and remember "it's 30% the gun and 70% the shooter"

That Maccarri spring is a much higher quality spring than the factory part. Plus Ed will have it properly lubed upon reassembly. Should be a sweet shooter when he's done with it. No twang, just a nice, solid thunk.

"but I'll be needin' that gun, fer squirrels and such."
