Well I got the 850 .177 package deal for christmas and and cant wait to take it out and shoot it. The gun and scope look very nice. I took off the sights and put on the compensator. I no the .22 is the better version of the gun for hunting but I am still happy I even got the gun. Also I'm still hoping to be able to use the .177 for some starlings and squirrels. I haven't shot it yet because my girlfriend had the courtesy to order it overnight so it was shipped on a plane. They cant ship the co2 on a plane so I will have to wait. I will keep yall updated and have a MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!!

Sounds like you have helluv a girlfriend! I wanted one too, (850 not girlfriend) but my wife bought me a sweater instead. (wrong size) Please let us know how well you like your 850!
