but just good out of the box for those who like using iron sights if you ask me (that's what I like to use out to 30yds). That's the only thing that kept me from buying it when I tried it out (the front blade is too fat!). Are there any aftermarket replacement sights (including peeps) that will work with the 460?

Mine is scoped so it doesn't matter, but you can either use a Williams peep  in conjunction with the fat front sight or thin it out a little with a sharp file.. Mendoza makes a nice 30 dollar peep available from Pyramyd airguns but it is sometimes too high on some applications

or go red-dot sight if I didn't desire/prefer telescopic sight.

Use a quality peep or "ap" that has easy adjustments and solid
clamping. Cheap can sometimes be a hassle/headache and start to
get kinda expensive.
