For anyone wanting to talk about the 850, Harry found a website that devoted to the gun. We can use that site and use devoted to the Diana. Avery, if you are viewing this, go to the site and see pics of the compensator being taped with shrink wrap. Anyone else interested can see links of the gun shooting etc.
Thanks Harry

It's the same

one I sent you yesterday in your other thread. Click on the link in my post and see. As far as I know there is only 1 dedicated 850 forum and that is it.

I 've been checking it out periodically for 3mos now, and have been following their progress on making the 850 more powerful. I know there are several of them (tuners-wanna-be's/experimenters and some more real tuners) that get consistently >700fps with .22 cal. med-weight pellets. That is really exciting, but I 'm not sure what the reliability or the adverse effects are yet.

Harry, I thought about you yesterday. You might really want to check out the 850. a little closer, especially with the nosy neighbor. I have had e-mails etc. of guys that really love this gun. And taping the compensator makes this gun very neighbor friendly. I shoot my little 1077 out of my window and it is about 30 degrees today. From inside the gun shoots with plenty of power for its size.

Good Shooting

PS check out the video of the gun shooting 75 yards

You 're right Dave. I didn't think about shooting from inside the house where it's warm! That's mostly what I do anyway. I usually keep the room pretty warm anyway even though I have the window all the way up on a 20deg. day waiting for a crow or squirrel to pass by

The heater is working over time trying to keep the room warm so that' money $ litterally flying out the window!

Where 's the video? On the 850 website? I 'll check it out.

850. at 75 yards

Harry, I just finished shooting my little 1077 co2 out my window. I have a tree abut 10 feet away. A really beautiful Cardinal just kept watching me with his head cocked wondering what the heck I was doing. The whole time I fired 16 shots before he left the tree. By the way, I have a very inexpensive space heater that I bought at Walmart that I keep by the window, the little sucker really warms the area.

Here is the video link with the name of the author.

Dave

This video will do two things. 1. It will illustrate the amazing out of the box accuracy of the 850 22 with the stock sights at 75 yards. 2. The trajectory of the pellet is illuminated from muzzle to target with an HID spotlight from Sams Club..........enjoy........Bill Dempsey

nice video!

It sounds though as it took almost a whole second to reach the can Remember the video of the guy shooting a coffee can at 101yds with a 350 on open sights? You heard the impact on the coffee can a lot sooner with the 350 at 101yds than you did with the 850 at 75yds. Well I guess 250fps difference will do that
