I 'm afraid to ask what the bird in the 2nd pic is. Looks like an owl or hawk, but then again you could be tiny and it's a crow. Hard to tell. All predatory birds are protected her in the states so there 's no hunting season for them. What are the other ones? Pheasant?

its a raven..here in Northren Alberta they get quite big..And no thats a ruffed grouse..

Hey Zack, just curious as to where you are. I spent a lot of years over by Peace River and Grande Prairie. Always liked hunting grouse and rabbits with my air rifles. I'm in Calgary now so now it's mostly gophers out of town. There are tons of jackrabbits in town but trying to hunt them would probably get me into a lot of trouble.

Edmonton...Hunt in fort mac though..
