Well I've shot the heck out of this thing since buying it and it still blows my mind!
I would not hesitate in saying that it is the most accurate pistol in my collection.
I shot it off a bench tonight at 10 yards and managed 1 hole groups the entire time. By one hole I mean slightly larger than a pellet, not a clover leaf. Over the weekend I was shooting unsupported at spoons which were 30-35 yards off and hitting them 4 of 5 times easily with the factory sights.

The trigger could be a little sweeter but I imagine more time for break-in and further adjusting will handle that. Otherwise, this one is a keeper.

Minor tweaking of the trigger return spring...

reduces the trigger pull nicely for those who are interested.
Makes it a rather nice trigger in my opinion.

Sure sounds like a real winner

And the P5 is German engineered and German made isn't it?
I just ordered the Daisy 747 and here I go salivating for another
pistol. Do you mind saying where you got yours Russ?

Thanks

Charlie

I picked mine up at Bass Pro. I wouldn't suggest going through them normally but in this case, it was a return and I got a good deal. It shoots RWS Superdomes around 550fps which amazed me since it was left in the box cocked until I got it.

It is .177 caliber and shoots very flat. I have it sighted for 10 yards for indoor shooting and have to use a little hold-over at 35 yards but nothing I wouldn't expect.

I wouldn't worry about getting the Daisy first. It is a good gun and you will enjoy it. You can always get the Diana afterwards. Variety is the spice of life they say!

.177 or .22

Just wondering which caliber you are using and how flat it's shooting. I have one in each caliber but I haven't had a chance (or space) to do longer range shooting.

MUST BUY!

Every dedicated RWS owner should own a 34, 460, and a P5 Magnum. I will get one within the quarter.
